Google maps fun!

Today was an excellent day for a ride. I rode to work, then took the long route home. I wish it weren't so dark outside or I'd be out riding som more. Sure, I'll ride at night when I have to, but I'd rather avoid it.

On a note more related to this entry's title, I found a neat little feature in Google maps and put together a map of the places I've been on my scoots. I will update this map as I expand my riding range.

So, just how far have you traveled in one trip on your scooter?
I like the trip up 501 north of Lititz and up into the mountains.
I've been to Bucks County and also to Laurel, MD. to see my daughter. That trip was all highway and not too much fun. I plan to map out a back-roads trip so I don't have to do all highway speeds.
I also have a trip mapped out that goes through Centrailia and up to Shamokin Dam. Beautiful country there.

So far the furthest I've been on the scoot is Dubois, PA. I think I mentioned that I'm in the planning stages of a trip to Massachusetts in the spring.

Eventually, I'd like to take a trip down into the hills of West Virginia, and maybe the Blue Ridge Pkwy.
