I know I've not written anything in this space in quite some time. Today I'll change that, at least for the next week or so.
I'm going to do it again. I'm off on another scooter trek. Tomorrow I'll be heading north from Lancaster to the tiny burgh of Castile, New York. I'll meetmy wife and son there for a visit with her ailing grandmother.
On Monday we will part ways again and I will motor on over to a campground just south of Syracuse, then on to Holyoke, Massachusetts on Tuesday. I'll spend a few days puttering around my natal land, visiting friends and family, then Friday I'll head south again to Lancaster.
This should be fun. Five years ago I was 34 and the scooter was nearly new. Now we've both been through our share of battles. I guess this will prove how tough the little Kymco is.
So, I'm going to watch a bit of Top Gear, drift off to sleep, then head off to New York after work in the morning. I'll make sure to give updates periodically and plenty of pictures and perhaps a video or two.
Here's to the open road and a corner or two to make it interesting.
